FAPPO committees drive our mission through dedicated volunteer service
FAPPO's committees are the backbone of our organization, driving initiatives that benefit our membership of approximately 1,000 public procurement professionals. Committee members volunteer their time and expertise to advance FAPPO's mission of empowering Florida public procurement professionals through communication, education, and networking opportunities.
Conference Committee
Plans and coordinates the Annual Conference including educational sessions, trade show, and networking events.
Key Responsibilities

Fall Workshop Committee
Organizes the Fall Workshop event focused on professional development and training.

Membership Committee
Oversees membership recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies.

Awards Committee
Manages the annual awards program including the Award for Excellence in Public Procurement and Best Practice Award.

Legislative Committee
Monitors and advocates for procurement-related legislation affecting Florida public procurement.

Communications Committee
Manages FAPPO's communications including website, social media, and member communications.

Education Committee
Develops and coordinates educational programming including webinars and training opportunities.

Manages sponsor and exhibitor relationships and develops sponsorship opportunities.
